Hope we don't get pantsed on telly.

Foley and Jackson should be good inclusions

Have to run lots, so me thinks we'll fade, but I am expectant of a solid performance and a < 5 goal loss.

Doesn't Jackson have another week to serve. He has only missed the Ess and Port games.

Would love Foley back in this week to freshen things up.

I think if we can get withing 4-6 goals we've done a pretty good job. Need to stick with em for the first qtr though or it could be a blowout.

The Saints always seem to be the team we run into when we've shown a bit of form and invariably they bring us crashing back to reality.
Not really, for an average team for years some of our most promising form in dark times has come from Saints games where we have just been pipped at the post.

Won't forget that 2008 game where the Tiprat kicked 7-8 goals to ruin Richo's night out with a close loss.

Or the Final game in 2007 where the Saints ran over the top of us to hand us a priority pick. :)

And I think we played them again earlier in 2007 and went close then too.

I think they gave a us a spanking last year but it would have in any way kind of reality check given how shithouse we were all year.

Even if we get belted, I won't be walking away too disappointed as long as I see a few things from the kids that put a little smile on the dial, i.e. Jack kicks another 4-5, Griffiths take 8-10 grabs and kicks a couple of goals, Martin/Cotchin matching it with someone like Hayes. For these are small victories that can be taken from a losing performance that remind you what the season is all about.
Christ, a bag of 4-5 goals from Jack and the Griff taking plenty of marks and snagging a couple of goals would not just be a "few things from the kids".

If we get that sort of performance going in our forward line against the dour Saints defence we won't be getting belted in any shape or form.

I remember a game against St. Kilda where Jack missed a shot after the siren which would have won it - think it was '08 but I'm not certain.

Don't even dream of beating them unless McGuts wondrously knocks out Goddard, Montagna and Fisher in one fell swoop.

I just want to see us compete for four quarters, not necessarily no fadeouts (i.e. i understand they will burn us to timbuktu on all our inevitable turnovers and errors) but I just never want us to hang our heads and look out of it, basically, another team effort, backing each other and I'll be wrapt

.....also 5 goals to Griff and 10 for Riewoldt to start his run for the Coleman
That'd be amazing. I dream't about it last night!
