Ian McLagan member of two of my all time favourite bands has died from complications of a stroke.

His keyboard work on Small Faces Tin Soldier, Itchycoo Park, Lazy Sunday and the Faces, Stay With Me are amongst his great legacy.

Only Kenney Jones left from the classic Small Faces lineup.

He could certainly boogie, played in Billy Bragg's band too.

A reminder that Rod Stewart wasn't always a low rent Vegas act trawling his way through "The Great American Songbook" too, he could rock.

Bloody oath. Rocking Rod was a great frontman in one of England's rockingest bands and, early on, produced some fantastic solo stuff. Before he ran out of puff he was a great songwriter, recording artist and live performer. His current persona as some kind of modern day Poor mans Sinatra is the ultimate sellout. Incomparable to the rock star he once was.
