So, in summary, The Sarge pasted Cornes when they were matched on one another, and beenreal is a knob.

Would I be right in saying that Perrie's form has turned around with the appointment of Neil Craig, and he'll probably be a required player next season? If not, I'd love to get him down to North, if only so he wouldn't be able to dominate us.

If he can deliver a Chooks flag I'll be indebted to the man forever.

Very well, if not simple, then perhaps naive, immature, supercillious, psychophantic,... somebody STOP me!!

Perhaps Spindoctor would consider giving us all an eloquent critique' of the "Sarges" "stick to the centre corridor" (?), style of play.

And to ****; a defender certainly is judged by his, or in the Cows case her, posessions.

And I think Warren "Tredders" Tredrea will do fine. As in he Treads all over his opposition!
1. Read your PM.

2. Pity you don't put as much thought into your posts as the style of the font chosen.

3. Sarge has just as good as record as converting goals v points than Tredders, so your "pockets" nickname doesn't quite hold.

4. Your so-called AA CHB got pants for both games this season by the Crows by different opponents. If Cornes gets AA selection then the likes of Roos, Jakovich, etc will be rolling in the graves.

5. Find it funny that you are picking on 1 of the few Crows players on the WE who had a good game. Do you secretly have the hots for Sarge or something..

Yeah, in a nutshell.

I think it is fair to say that Craig has give Sarge a fair go & he is a a player who needs confidence shown in him. Should have been playing earlier in the season when we had the likes of Bock at CHF who just are not up to it. I can appreciate you would love to have him at North as he usually lifts for games against you (Still have great memories of travelling to the game at then-Colonial a few years back when he kicked thos 5 helecopter goals that got us into the finals). Would be willing to swap him for Petrie. ;)

:D I rate Petrie highly. Will it be fair to say that he struggled this year???
He started the year OK, but then has struggled to kick on. If I were guessing, I would say he has been carrying an injury as has just not been the player we know he can be. Could argue to that it hasn't helped the Roos cause as they have faded (like last year) out of finals contention late in the season.

We really dont have a choice with Perrie, can someone who wants him gone please make a realistic suggestion as to who we could pick up that would be better. CHF's dont just fall from trees. Its all very well to go sacking players but you've got to have realistic prospects to replace them with. Other teams do not hand over gun players for underperforming duds. You can't have a team of 18 year olds running around either. No team can carry more than 2 or 3 Bock and Jericho types.

I get slammed for this one too but what the hell, Clive Waterhouse.

Well he's around for free - Freo delisted him today!!

At 30 years of age - 31 next year - I don't think he will have a lot of appeal.

He has a point to prove, and we only need a CHF for 1 year while we wait for watts.
On top of that Perrie would get us a decent pick or help get a real quality player in a trade (stinger and perrie for waters)
Dont get me wrong I rate Perrie, but as a depth option or great if we had 3 specialist forward crumbers.
Clive has been very badly mismanaged in his time, and of course injuries and bouts of agro haven't helped, BUT as a temporary CHF he is taylor made.
I have wondered before what his career would have been like if he was permitted to play there for a decent spell at the dockers.

I agree he is not our future - we would be better of giving a young kid a go.
I am only sugesting him as temporary option.
And we could get another quality kid for perrie.

Yeah, hear what your saying, but I reckon Perrie's worth > what we could get for trade.

That is a pretty stupid comment. Even by your standards. Defenders aren't judged by possessions.

PS. What name do you give to Warren Tredrea? "Wings"?

hahahahahaha best comeback ever

or the nickname for chad cornes "loose"
or Wagnaneen "actor"

To be brutally honest, he was rubbish this year. Whether it was the added responsibility of a leadership position at such a young age, or just defenders realising who he was and giving him a much harder time I don't know, but he struggled to make a presence and really only stayed in the side because of his workrate off the ball.

Still, I'm confident he'll pull through it and be a better player for it. Not ironically, his best game of the year was on Chad Cornes too ;)

Hehe, it's easy to become a dominant possesion-winning CHB when you take little responsibility for your opponent. ;)

I think Sarge's opportunties have come more from Carey's retirement than a change in coach. I think in fairness to Ayres, he did try to give Perrie game time, it just never really worked when Carey was there too. Or maybe he had the positioning wrong.

Perrie had a good year the one before Carey arrived and seems to have found his niche again.

And I'd be careful calling AFC supporters simple...I don't think your club's demographic has anything close to a genius percentage. Probably some of the stupidest population sectors of Adelaide actually.
So its possible to tell someone's intelligence by looking at their postcode?

Well that certainly makes the IQ Test redundant ;)

Maybe an average. ;)

I think it's safe to say the average IQ in the Port Adelaide area does not top the scale.

well if your looking from a suburb perspective them i suppose you could have a calculated guess as long as you had information from a good sized population %

so if the goverment has something on intelligence of people then you could group them to suburb and have a educated guess based on the average ???

Channel 10's news today (Thursday), said that Perrie also was leaving the Crows to go home

Don't know their sources, or accuracy, but if correct, could you package up Stenglein & Perrie?
