It takes sweet FA to cook an omelet or scrambled eggs...heat the pan whilst you put the kettle on and whilst having a quick shave....whack the eggs on and 2-3 minutes later your done and dusted, your now had a coffee, eggs, shaved all in 10 minutes...

Great, got anything for those of us without facial hair? ;)

I rarely eat breakfast but am trying to start...this morning I split an English muffin, put it in the toaster, put some jam on it and walked out the door.

I like the idea of splitting an English muffin :thumbsu:

Does it work OK with other nationalities just as well?

What this bloke said. If you're not into Up and Go, you could always make a toast the previous night and heat it up in the morning.

Wait, what?

You could probably make the toast in the time it takes to re-heat it.

And it wouldn't taste like cardboard.

This is the laziest and most disgusting suggestion in the thread :(

Lowan Instant Oats. Just add 3/4 cup of boiling water and a few squirts of honey (even a chopped banana) and your laughing.

Or make a ham, cheese, tomato sanga the night before, invest in a sandwich press if you don't already have one and either cook whilst getting ready for work or leave the press at work and do it there.

As the old German proverb goes “Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince, and dinner like a pauper”... most people get the order back to front (and it shows).

Breakfast is the one meal I'm willing to spend time on (if you don't have time to prepare it all in the morning either get up earlier or make it the night before) .

A breakfast bar, a piece of fruit and a protein shake shouldnt take anymore than 10 minutes to prepare and eat :thumbsu:.

Curious what you have for breakfast..

i dno. Big bowl of porridge with honey, toast with avo, scrambled or poached eggs dont take long. What else, chocolate milk if you are in a big hurry. I hate breakfast, i wish there was something interesting, muffins look allright, yogurts are also a decent selection!

There's no such thing as a quick brekky. Toasted mini ciabatta with chicken or liver pate, hungarian salami, swiss cheese and greek yoghurt. I'm taking all the time in the world ;)

mix up your toasted items - Crumpets, English muffins, Fruit loaf, Waffles. Quick and easy without getting boring. Keep them in the freezer then you can just select on the day.

Sunday I make a huge fruit salad with mango, apple, pineapple, kiwi fruit and blueberries (obviously up to you) in it and chuck it in the fridge.

In the morning whiz almonds and a bunch of other nuts and grains together (again up to you) in the food processor for 1 minute. Put sesame seeds in it and pour coconut oil on it and mix it together.

Put the fruit on it. Yoghurt on top of that and a little bit of honey or maple syrup to finish.

Takes 5 mins maximum and it is bloody fantastic. Feel a million bucks after eating it and am usually not hungry till dinner.

A lot of great responses so far so props to everyone

What kind of nuts and grains?

How long into the week before you finish the fruit salad you prepared on sunday?

How big would you say is your serving size at breakfast for this?

For me cant go past a quick home made egg and bacon Mcmuffin.

Soft English muffin, not toasted, topped with a slice of low fat cheddar.
Free range egg fried on a non stick pan, with a quick spray of healthy oil.
Two slices of lean bacon, all held together between the muffin with a squirt of barbecue sauce.

Fresh perculated coffee.

Sounds awesome to me!
