i have a question.. has anyone confirmed that fevola wants to play for brisbane? ot is it speculation resulting from talks held between brisbane, carlton and tomorrow bradshaw and rischetelli? im sure i have seen or heard a confirmed statement from either fev or his matter on the issue.. anyone able to provide info stating otherwise?? and tbh id rather fev at sydney so at least that way the get no forward option.. as for bradshaw he is the perfect replacement for fev and will kick 70+ goals in that forward line with no jb around...

If you believe the press....yeah.....Fev does not want to leave Victoria as, firstly, he has a lot of business interests in Melbourne and second and more importantly, his wife is very adamant she does not want to leave Melbourne.

Hold the press on the Brissy deal though as I reckon the Swans would have been on the blower to Carltoon 30 seconds after they wrapped up pick 14 from the Pies for Jolly.

lets hopw the swans can somwhow get fev with picks... this will leave carltoon b-lose with no good options going forward.. unless they consider yarran, cloke, waite, fisher and o'halipin good... lol.. being carltoon supporters they probably do..

I don't think they were really asked if you believe the Herald Sun who quoted the following:

"Lions officials informed an understandably shocked Bradshaw and Rischitelli of the plan yesterday afternoon."

They are however coming down to Melbourne for medicals today.

If you'd thrown up this trade a month ago the Carlton fans would have chased you with pitchforks out of BigFooty.

They have been absolutely bent over, bit of vaso smeared around the target, Brisbane has had a run up from about 50 out and BANG, they've had slotted fair up their rectrum.

Bradshaw will probably die from old age before he makes it to Carlton, he might not even get on the plane with his walking frame.
Rischitelli is about as average as you can get, he'll get a game because Carlton house the likes of Dennis Armfield and Jordan Russell, but that still isn't say much.

Easily the best news I've heard all trade week, we could walk away with nothing and this will still be the best trade week I've ever seen. I'm not looking forward to playing Brisbane so much (although they themselves have ****ed enough this trade week) but farrrrrk I'm looking forward to laughing at Carlton.

They can spin this how they like (Calrton/Media), but the Blues are getting royally screwed in this deal.

Brisbane gains the best forward line the AFL has basically ever seen, and Carlton gets what? a half ripped band aid to address a problem they half don't even have? (Bradshaw for forward line pffft, and Rischitelli which they don't need with that midfield).
