??? I can middle click to open a new tab, just terribly slow... The popup blockers are horrible and simply block anything even if it is on the same page.. Annoying as hellFirefox easily.
Been using firefox from home for a couple of years now, and IE7 i've just started using on my new system at work recently.
the main difference i've struggled to come to terms with in IE is that you can't drag links to the tab bar to open them in a new tab, you can't middle click to open link in new tab, you can't undo close tab.. just overall firefox handles tabs much much better.
the one thing i do like in IE is the zoom in/out changing the size of the images as well as the text, so it all sorta grows/shrinks together. but that feature is in firefox 3 beta, though i havent upgraded to that at home yet.

But Firefox just has IE dominated in the tabs department![]()
Just a quick add up. 10-1 in favour of firefox. you're on your own s2c....

Fact is these computers that I am using at TAFE all have IE on them and not much else. They do have firefox but as always is the case it shits itself.nothing new there.![]()
I do have a slight problem with Firefox: sometimes it takes quite a while to load. Maybe I am not setting it up correctly. I have the latest version of Firefox.
if you have an adon that requires connection to the internet to do some updating/checking etc, this could be the problem.Hmm, this happens to me too, usually. I thought maybe it could be an add-on? It never used to happen to me...

Just make the screen size smaller, open bookmarks grab the actual bookmark and drag it onto the desktop.Am finding Firefox far superior to IE. However is there a way to send a saved bookmark(favourite) to my desktop using Firefox as is possible using IE?

I love Opera but it's lack of a proper ad blocking facility is pissing me off.
