I ask because the record shows that the Gabba is basically your home away from home, so it‘s blatantly bullshit to say that the ground and travel doesn’t factor in at all. Would Richmond have won the GF against us in Perth? What about against Geelong at Simonds Stadium? Arguably your greatest win this year was against Port at Adelaide Oval, but, considering they’re the biggest chokers of all time, I found that result hardly surprising.

Richmond played home games at Metricon this year. Try again. Richmond played 2 games at the Gabba prior to the finals. 4 in total.

Nah Port were better than Geelong. They finished higher on the ladder. They beat you in the finals. And they put up more of a fight against Richmond.

Brilliant, we lost to Collingwood by one point. Sometimes teams play out of their skins in such circumstances (they played their GF against us). Case in point: you couldn’t beat the Colliwobbles in a prelim when a goddamn American tore you apart.

Past seasons should’ve been taken into account when the fixture was released i.e making it more difficult for you. If this season was truly fair, then you would‘ve played us in Perth, as you should have done, considering our last matchup was at the MCG.

Metricon, the Gabba, it doesn’t matter. The main thing is you played in Queensland, where your record is pretty absurd.

And, no, it isn‘t a question of it applying as HGA, I’m simply making the observation that you have a great record in Queensland, especially at Metricon. I myself used to think that it was because you’ve only played s**t teams over there for the last decade, but this year proved it really is your home away from home, like us with Adelaide Oval.
