Because this year they had all the advantages they like to whinge about others getting (more home games than most, less travel, long run of home games), and they still couldn't win a single final, at home.

Finding out that all those advantages don't mean a thing if your team is crap torpedoed most of their whining over the past few decades, and left them feeling the cold wind of reality.
