He would hit Asia right now and deliver the knockout blow, surely he has plans in the works just waiting for the right time, and if ever a region was vulnerable it is the Asian region.
If not what is his grand plan?, the weakening of the US and its allies then deliver a double whammy and while he's at it how about an uprising in Iraq for good measure.

Bin laden is hard pressed to do more than one or two attacks a week.

his organisation was a weak terrorist network until the US started stomping its boot around the ME, but he doesn't have that many friends in the SE asia.

as for strikes now, to what purpose? to bring about govt change? what targets to hit? much devastation has occured already.

there is no enemy for him in the SE asia region, really. SL is a war b/w hindus and budhists, no margin for him to bring about a Moslem state there, India's moslems are basically up north on the borders with bangladesh and pakistan, not south in tamil nadu, which is predominantly hindu, aceh is already in the middle of race/religion war and the moslems being the TNI are winning, if not having already won.

No bin laden is running for his life, his meagre resourse are hiding behind the iraqi freedom fighters and committing acts of terror against everyone which is why even the shi'ite moqtada al sadr, and the sunni resisitance forces won't really have anything to do with al qaeda.

Bin Laden is seriious, seriously deranged, but what to expect from an ex cia trained nutter.

Could Bin Laden recurit those affected by the tsunamis? I mean they are all people who have lost a lot or everything in terms of family, friends, and belongings, and hence could be vulerable to joining a new 'family' to care for them.

If heaven forbid Australia was to have a similar tragedy, does anyone think Indonesia would be doing bugger all to help us? I know its negative to look at it like this but someone tell me im wrong.

I think they probably would. If nothing else, America would needle them relentlessly until they made at least a token effort.

Of course its better to give than recieve (IMO). But the point i was trying to make was if this happned to say WA....more likely im afraid than the Eastern Seaboard, im not convinced we would get help from Johnny in Canberra let alone Indonesia.

FFS, I hate little johnny as much as anyone, maybe more, but that comment is just bloody stupid.

BOOHOO everyone over East hates us, if they do then it is attitudes like yours that has probably caused it.

No it's not negative, it just proves your dislike of anyone with darker skin than yours!

Your a fool Croc. Since when has me stating a fact, that Indonesia hates Australia and would probably have to be pushed to help us out if a tragedy on the scale we now see in SE Asia happened here, equate to me disliking people with dark colored skin?. Are you going to tell me the sky isnt blue next Croc?

And as far as Mantis is concerned your right, i went a bit overboard by saying Johnny/ Canberra wouldnt help us out if it hit the fan here. But i wont back away from any debate over whether WA gets a fair shake at a Federal level considering how much we prop up this nations economy, we dont simple as that...but as they say in the classics, thats another thread.

I strongly doubt it.

The USA and Australia (along with Japan) are leading the world in terms of giving aid to the affected nations.

Every left-wingers favourite isolationists in Europe are sticking true to form and offering bugger all assistance.

Wonder whether some ******** like Michael Moore will make a documentary on the nations than turned their backs on the tsunami vitcims.

After the Bali attack, didn't America tell Indonesia to actively pursue the terrorists or we will have planes (read B2 stealth bombers) circling Indonesia within hours?

There you go over the top again, bloody hell there must be something wrong with WA, every other state in Australia hates them, as does our closest neighbours, talk about west aussies having a persecution complex.

PS: Unit, you seem to fear anyone who isn't white, christian, or born in WA.

How do you figure that out?. Since when has pointing out that Indonesia hates Australia, not just WA ( hardly a revelation there ) and that WA gets rorted by Canberra in terms of the slice of pie it gets when you consider the amount we contribute to the national economy through our natural resources, amounted to me being afraid of anyone who isnt white, christian or born in WA?. Do you honestly believe elements of the Indonesian Government arent in some way at the least sympathetic to the cause of JI?. If you dont you need to do some serious research on the issue.
I sense another Crocodile Man, in your seeming dislike of stating the obvious Mantis.
