Isn't he a coaching messiah, a four time premiership coach with a direct phone line/espresso machine to Gil's office?

Players said otherwise, and the great football loving Sydney public followed.

Its a formula that doesn't often work so well.

Having the AFL pumping resources and players in "whatever it takes" may have helped.
