if freo can come close to winning a game against last years reigning premiers, who had beaten us by 157 points last year, why cant we? we did dominate freo when we played then a couple weeks ago so it asks the question. can we actually beat geelong? terry and the coaching staff will be studying last nights game very closely so we can shut down the run and carry from the geelong backline.

No they shouldn't have. The Cats dominated the last quarter but couldn't put them away.
But yes, if Freo can almost, it shows that the Cats have off days, and that on these days they are beatable. Any team can beat any other team on any given day, just depends on a lot of things. Let's just hope the Cats have an off day against us.

Fremantle have stronger bodies than us. The tactic they used against Geelong wouldn't work for us because of that exact reason.

lol it's a good point you make but it's hard not to feel like you're kind of part of the "team" - when they win we're up and about, you'd think the players are too, lose and we're on a downer as the players must be but it doesn't always transfer across - i'm sure the Hawks players won't be taking this game as lightly as the majority of their supporters seem to be!
