In other words, the 2nd Preliminary Final of 2004. The Brisbane Lions playing a 'home' game at the M.C.G. against the 'visiting' Geelong Cats. LOLOLOLOOOO
Yes, and the AFL acted swiftly to renegotiate its contract so that it didn't happen again. That's the correct procedure.
Just because others have been wronged should not mean it should be tolerated. Should not be playing MCG tenants at the G for a home final.

Geelong should get home finals against whoever they play, Victorian or otherwise.

Counter-argument - they sell home games at the G and get experience there.

Counter-counter-argument - don't effing buy their games!

Non Victorian teams have been sabotaged from the Victorian bias of the competition. Cats flopped in their only ever final in 2013 so the psychology of a home final would not benefit us anyway. Bring in the crowds!

TBF the contract had been around for years and plenty of interstate teams had to play home finals at the G. The AFL didn’t act swiftly.
