ok i know some of you will come out and bite my head off coz we shouldn't be bagging our players.... but right now i am ashamed to admitt that Grgic even belongs to our team!
when a player has not performed well for a month, you start to question him, when he doesn't perform for a year you drop him back to the rookie list, but when a player never performs you drop him back to little leauge and tell him to stop letting his mum wear his jumper before the games!
but in all seriousness, the guy has been playing since 1997 and still hasn't had a game where people could look at him and say "oh he is a great player"!
i am sick of people going "yeah yeah he has lots of potential", he is not a young kid anymore... he is a mature enough player and he should have showed his stuff A LONG LONG LONG time ago.
ok lets compare Grgic to other players who debuted in 97 and see how he measures up:
Anthony McDonald
James McDonald
Alistair Nicholson
Stephen Powell
Russell Robertson
Shane Woewodin
has Grgic ever tried to even measure up to any of those players? the answer is NO, he is still playing amature footy, and would be lucky to even get a game with some VFL clubs!
(they dropped Febey but they won't drop Grgic... i ask you, what the hell is wrong with them??!! )
now we gotta ask ourselves why the hell is the Melbourne Football Club coaching staff put up with him week in week out instead of giving him a long good run with Sandy until he does something useful and until we can be proud of him wearing our no.4 jumper, and until he actually deserves it!!!
we are a good team and its ok that a player has a bad game, but when a player has a bad career we gotta have a look furthur and go deeper and discover why the hell he is still on our list!
LEARN HOW TO PLAY A PROPER GAME OF FOOTY AND WHEN YOU CAN GET MORE THAN ONE HANDBALL IN A GAME AND LEARN HOW TO KICK TO YOUR OWN TEAM MATES COME BACK!
