I certainly don't believe Crocker is moving on because Wilson "expects" it.
She is seriously the most negative person I have ever heard. That’s almost all she ever see’s.
She could win a ten ride ticket on the orgasmatron and still write that it wasn’t good enough

What about David Teague? Looks likely to get snubbed by Carlton in favour of Voss (lol), bring him home! Can't be understated how much tactical nous it takes to make Carlton halfway competitive, and I like the idea of having both of the fresh 'new wave' of coaches working for us.

Depends on how desperate Adelaide are to move on Don Pyke, if it was easier they'd have fired him already and have Teague lined up.

Not only that, even during the off season, when he had time to implement any tactical ideas or set plays, he has never had us properly prepared, instead we'd be reacting on the fly to where the game is going in any given season, playing catchup.

I reckon Scott had long enough to show his tactical genius but the facts say otherwise. Clarko's cluster, Simmo's web, Pagan's paddock, Roos's and Hardwick's defensive pressure and frontal press, what about Scott??? What did we stand for?
Good points....I have found it interesting that 2 assistants have taken over and "successfully" modified the game plan.......does that suggest they couldnt express their opinions or they were ignored by the head coach??? why bother having them.......i get the rhetoric regarding Scotts laid the foundations that Shaw is building on but the contrast is stark......same with Bolton...was Teague not suggesting to him that they play Charlie in the guts rather than up forward or did he wait until Bolton was gone to suggest / make the move.......

One down.

Do we get to choose the replacement or do our betters have that choice all to themselves?

They install board members.

He'll step down, next candidate steps in, elections roll around. New candidate runs as in incumbent.

If you want a non board selected candidate to win you need to be campaigning to the members weeks ago.

It was sheer ****ing idiocy to hand over that sort of power to an entrenched clique.

The members were conned in to handing over the only real power they had.

Highly-regarded development guru Aaron Greaves to leave North Melbourne
The off-field changes have continued at Arden St, with North Melbourne’s highly-regarded development guru Aaron Greaves set to depart.

North Melbourne is set to continue its coaching makeover with head of player development Aaron Greaves stepping away from the club.

Greaves, 41, is highly regarded for his coaching and player learning programs and has played a key role in helping North’s young players including Tarryn Thomas, Nick Larkey, Cameron Zurhaar and Bailey Scott blossom this year.

The former school teacher specialises in identifying player learning strengths and effective communication strategies, in partnership with top sporting clubs from around the world.

However, Greaves is sure to be in demand as he explores other opportunities including a potential head of football role, which he previously held at Port Adelaide.

Greaves worked closely alongside senior coach Ken Hinkley and senior assistant Michael Voss during a five-year stint at the Power.

The Kangaroos appointed highly-rated West Coast list manager Brady Rawlings as its new general manager of football last month, to help partner new coach Rhyce Shaw.

Rawlings replaces former list manager and football operations manager Cameron Joyce, who will leave the club at season’s end.

Greaves was contracted for next season at Arden St, but has agreed to part ways on good terms after recent talks with the club.

The St Joseph’s product oversaw North’s off-field and welfare programs and combined them with his coaching and game day role from the interchange bench.

North is making major off-field changes after letting go senior coach Brad Scott in May.

Shaw’s young Roos have defied expectations since then to sit only two games outside the eight.

While the club’s list was talked down over the first three months of the season, there has been significant improvement from some of the club’s brightest young players including Jy Simpkin, Zurhaar, Larkey and Thomas over the second half of the 2019 campaign.

Forwards coach Leigh Tudor is also contracted for next season but will have discussions about his future with Shaw before the end of the season.

Tudor was considered a senior coach in the making after successful stints at Geelong, St Kilda and Sydney, but was overlooked for the interim coaching role in favour of Shaw.

Tudor led the Cats’ VFL team to a flag and was at the Swans with Shaw when they won the 2012 premiership.

The former Geelong and North Melbourne forward continues to be highly rated in the industry and could be targeted at season’s end for a senior position elsewhere.

Long-time assistant coach Darren Crocker is out of contract at season’s end at North.

The cull is in full swing. I would think if we are letting people go, or chopping them early, then we have a plan in place for their replacements. Will watch this space with much interest. I love how the media say each person is/was well regarded in AFL circles. Greaves highly regarded. Tudor highly rated. Scott well regarded. We had such exceptional people we should have been on top of the ladder.

Gavin Brown is part of our player development team as well. What happens with Gav?

What happens with David Loader? Do we move him on and get someone like Fitzy (Gerard Fitzgerald) or go with someone else?

Rumour is they'll be merged to form a super-development coach named the Brown Loader.

Jarred Moore might stay.
Crocker might leave.
Tudor is staying unless he gets a setup for a top job elsewhere..
Minson is staying, good mates with Goldstein
David Loader I can see him both moving on from the clubs behalf or staying; his output hasn't been poor.
Gavin Brown, I can see him being moved on.
Whitecross will become an assistant coach if there's a spot available.

Lotta question marks around others, its hard to tell what's really going to happen. Could be a full cull, or a partial one.

This is true but is there anyone in the market right now for becoming a stoppage/midfield coach?

When Tudor was doing it the midfield was better. It was also a bit different tho. Had Wells, Swallow and even Dal and Harvey. All old but experienced. Jacobs too ... for about a year.

I think wherever we shift him he'll do well. He's done a pretty good job with the forwards this year, alot of goalkickers and we're not relying on Brown anymore.

Depends on who's available to come in and be a good forward or midfield coach.
