They test players 3 times a week. If a player tests positive the season continues without them, and without anyone they came into contact with who go under quarantine for 2 weeks. It's pretty simple stuff

Worst case is it would be like the Melbourne Storm where they relocate from Victoria for the rest of the season
Agreed, but if the Vic teams refused to relocate should the season be canned or continue without them?

On the hypothetical basis a team refuses to relocate than they should forfeit, but I doubt any team would actually carry through on that extreme threat
but they could band together and call for the season to be scrapped, would the AFL have the balls to continue without them?

Victoria make up 60% of the teams. There isn't really a season if more than half of the league can't play.

I'd imagine they would relocate or can the 2020 premiership.
