I am going to laugh with pleasure when i see on the news all the heart broken essendon members/supporters who miss out on tickets to the big games (seeing all those people crying and swearing) who deserve all the pain they get after such an arrogant year will be music to my ears. Hopefully teh Dees came make my dream come true by crushing the insipid cheating Dons next saturday. It's a case of Good (Dees) V evil (Bombers) GO DEES !
Just remember 35,000 club members, only 9,000 will get tix. Bwa ha ha ha

Also, when you said Essendon were "cheats" were you refering to the salary cap breaches? Because didn't Melbourne also get punished for breaching the salary cap.

Of the 20,000 tix avaialbe to club members, Essendon get 12,000 and the Dees get 8,000.

We get more becasue we have more members.

Essendons membership total of 34,000 included AFL members (like me) who barrack for Essendon. These members allready have tickets in the AFL members section. There are about 7,000 such members (maybe more). So, about 27,000 Essendon members will be lining up for 12,000 tickets.

Of the ones that miss out, some of them will get tickets through other means.

27,000 into 12,000 sounds like a lot, but in reality not every memebr will be willing to get a ticket. it just doesn't work that way.

Only about half your membership, or maybe 60% are willing to line up for a Grand final ticket.

So, hopefully, not many will miss out.

As for you Geelong4eva..... you are an idiot. Why would you not want to see a fan watch their club in the Grand Final ? You're a loser and a moron and a d*ckhead.

ive got my ticket and i went as im also an afl member but i went down to colonial last night after the game just to soak up the atmosphere and be with all the bombers fans, there were hundreds of people there and many had come to the realisation that probably wouldnt get a ticket but they were just so happy to be a part of the celebrations

as for u geelong4eva did you manage to get a ticket to all those losing grand finals or didnt you bother after the first couple
this seems to me to be another sad case of jealousy
