Coach If this was supercoach for coaches who would you trade out and who do you replace with?

So basically Hardwick's got the job as long as he wants but looking at what's left it's looking a bit light on. Doesn't help we were plundered losing the likes of Caracella and McCrae. Personally I want Leppitch back and if Buckley was keen I'd take him. Personally don't rate McQualter, Kingsley's Hardwick's mate, and wouldn't be fussed if we lost Clarke or Lonergan. Can't really judge Maric as we haven't had a gun dominant TAP ruckman since General Lee. Basically wouldn't be upset if any or all left. I doubt other teams would be fighting over our leftover coaches??? But then again VLine paid Dusty's shrink $150,000 just cos she's associated with him. Last I checked he was a bloody good footballer before he met her. Next people will pay $100 for a latte from his barista By the way I attribute slot of our recent success to Caracella, Leppitch and Balmey. Caracella changed our midfield. Hardwick was responsible for that sideways nonsense in 2016. And Leppitch changed our forward line through necessity.

Not often I get interested from a Thread title but then dont agree with anything in the OP.
Like you said we didnt really have an option for another quality tall forward in 2017 and it evolved outve necessity it’s not that Leppitsch turned up with some magical idea the entire FD wouldve made it happen including Dimma, we’ve also won a flag without carracella and we smashed em inside 10 min last time we played the team he’s coaching so he’s not the messiah.
Mark Lee and Weightman both came outve Mildura and had a connection but he didnt do well in the Brownlow or become captain because he was a tap Ruckman he was a Bull and Nank was having a great season before the PCL.
Barry Cable and Polly Farmer are the only Indigenous coaches in VFL History, we are leaders in the Industry in nearly every way measurable including our connection and support with the native mob.
To say your happy to get rid of Xavier Clarke is about as short sighted as saying the Team isnt playing well so its the Coaches fault.
We’ve lost 27 outve the last 95 games thats 71.5% win/loss.
That isnt sustainable.

Kingsley is thought of as one of the best assistant coaches going around and he’s interested in the Collingwood position and Mcrae was the coach of our seconds team in one of our most successful eras and it was successful because of massive changes and shifts in the entire organisation from recruiting to Board level.
It’s because of our club including Dimma that assistants like Leppitsch, Carracella, Kingsley wanted to come to us and its why more quality will come.

You make a Thread about who would you like to see come into the club and then you dont suggest anyone, so how about you do what you propose in your own bloody thread instead of creating a platform to talk sh.t about the coach.

Id like to see the soft cap and list numbers go back to where they where and focus on the VFL to make it stronger again.

Would also definitely take Leppa back (would need a pretty big soft cap increase to make that happen) so he could coach our defense and free Kingsley up to go back to coaching the mids which he was quite good at last year.

We have that 100k soft cap fine hanging over our head this year so hopefully even without any changes from the AFL in terms of soft cap that gives us the ability to inject another coach or at least sure up our football department with an extra person in some capacity from day one next season

Need to look for people who have been involved with other successful programs. Bring in different perspectives. I think we should be looking at Sydney for our plan once we are done with this core. That is a model rebuild.

We all know KDH is near enough to useless without quality support coaches. So get the bloke to take a pay cut and get him the adequate support he needs.
Our premiership window started in 2012/13 , but bc we had KDH surrounded with imbeciles we wasted 4-5 years and now our list has aged and with little depth he now needs to rebuild. This rebuild won't be easy as what he started with as our youngsters aren't anywhere near the ilk of what he inherited in 2009.

Hardwick presided over one of the greatest eras of Richmond history and now that it’s looking like it’s over out come the haters again.
