Weather update, Accu Weather forecasting: 16 degrees, 13km/h winds with a 1% chance of rain for Saturday evening.

Where did this info come from mate?
Looks much more promosing.

In a word: Blustery.

The best thing is for the the weather to be consistent across the week; so they can factor it in tomorrow's main training. Something tells me tomorrow's training will be off-the-wall intense.

Between 5pm and 9pm they are saying between 17 and 20 degrees, partly cloudy and 0% chance of rain.
Forecast has really fined up over the past few days.

Yeah looks like we're going to get lucky. There is a front that's coming, but it looks like it's going to come though on Sunday rather than Sat night. Bit of stuff coming through Friday morning too. So looks like we're going to get lucky and have our game in between the two stormy days. Might be a bit of rain still around though, but nothing like some of the stuff we've been having.

Yeah, looks like it will be a dry evening.

I'm torn, not sure if I want it to be wet or dry. Although I think the wet weather would give us an advantage on the night, it would be hard to back it up a week later with sore bodies. Also, if it was a stormy night, it may take out some of the crowd influence. As a spectator I would like a dry night and we should really be able to beat anyone at home.

We have come a long way since Harvey, we are a 'no excuses' football club.

No way do I want full on storm. Not good for anybody really, and I doubt it would give us much if any advantage. Rain might suit us a bit, if it becomes a bit heavy then we've had the better rest and that might play out in the end.

All considered, Sydney are a good team in whatever stuff comes, and so are we - the better team will win whatever the conditions, but if we want the crowd to enjoy it and have a bit of impact, then less rain and less wind helps a lot.

The weather prognostications all point to a fine day with late shower or two. Some weather sources state an all day projection, while others give a break down on the course of the day - hence I've always liked Accuweather for planning a day.

When the shower(s) come I'm hoping we are in the lead. Halftime is my guess for a couple of drizzles and 4th qtr some heavier stuff (when we are all so warm and fuzzy with the onfield performance that a freaking hailstorm couldn't remove us from our seats !).

Dry weather is best for the crowd and also for the following week. If we need it to be wet to beat Sydney, then we wouldn't have much chance in the grand final anyway.

The drainage is pretty good, but how much sunshine does Subiaco need to dry out sufficiently and not slippery under lights? Will a few hours on Saturday be enough?

With a bit of wind, sandy soils and a little sunshine 6 hours would pretty much dry the surface out.
Nothing like last weeks debacle.
