I remember a couple years back when St Kilda beat us by close to 100 points, Carlton managed 4 goals that day, all were kicked by Fev.

i think i remember that...
we lost by 106 points i think, and at the assembly at school on the following monday, one of the stuck-up saints supporters came dressed in her saints guernsy & scarf.
The worst bit was that she was a school captain, and was presenting the student of the week awards, and then at the end said, "I would like to thank the saints footy club for their terrific win over the blues, and I would like to present this wooden spoon to Jess on behalf of the carlton footy club, for what position i think their going to end up this year."

no choice but to go up and accept it:mad:

and if brisbane lose to essendon by 84 points were ahead of them by percentage:p

Indisputable proof that a bye can produce phantom off-season boredom

It is not that simple actually so in order to keep your mathematical talent exercised for another week - I think you should work out the margins required for a range of scores and plot it on a graph :D

Did you remind her that she supports the Saints the undisputed kings of the wooden spoon?

I'm school captain. I like her thinking although disgusted that she would do it to a Carlton fan. I shall return the favour one day.

I would of accidentally tripped over and kneed her on the pubis. Really painful I'm told.:)

We only won the 4 games in 2003, according to Footy Wire.

Those wins came against Essendon (Round 3), North Melbourne (Round 5), Western Bulldogs (Round 8) and Richmond (Round 12).

The game you are thinking of was actually in 2001 when we punished the Lions by 74 points at Princes Park.

haha, nah, it was a couple of years back (05? and i was only in year 5) and i didnt know as much about footy back then as i do now

Neither did she by the sounds of it. ;) LOL.

I was at that match with my mate, Aker was near us on the fence and at full time my mate yelled out "No hand stand for you blonde boy", well he won the brownlow that year, Brisbane won 16 matches in a row and the first of their three peat that season. Maybe my mates words had a negative affect on the competition? :p
