If West Coast win the 2019 premiership are they superior to Brisbane 2001-2003 and Hawthorn 2013-2015?

No, because it means they'll have had 4 finals games at their fortress in WA out of 6 appearances.

Geelong 07-11 is still the most dominant team of this century. Not one home finals game in that time and broke almost every record there is to break. And they won 3 premierships.

Why do you want to play finals at a venue at which you have a 0% finals winning record?

Bris 01-03 > Haw 13-15 > Geel 07/09/11.

Haw 08-15 > Bris 99-04 > Geel 07-11.

WC 2018 > any and all of the above.

Hardly a large sample size.

If we earn the right to a home final we should get one.

Bris 01-03 > Haw 13-15 > Geel 07/09/11.

Haw 08-15 > Bris 99-04 > Geel 07-11.

WC 2018 > any and all of the above.

Whatever makes you happy.

I genuinely didn't follow any of that. And I'm universally acknowledged as the most intelligent poster on BF by the length of the proverbial straight; so what hope have the others got?
Just a fancy way of saying that West Coast would be the 1st club to win 3 Grand Finals against Geelong. And is the only club to currently be 2-0 in Grand Finals against Geelong.

That Fitzroy won their final flag against Richmond (Brisbane Lions still carry the ghost of Fitzroy in them)

And H2H=head2head, as in wins & losses between two clubs

You can rate them however you want OP.

Reality is that the majority of the public wont agree with your strawman argument

Now let me start this by saying IF West Coast win the flag this year then this question should be asked.

West Coast don't have either salary cap concessions like Brisbane 01-03 and the home ground factor Hawthorn had in 13-15.

If West Coast were to win the flag this year should they be rated ahead of Brisbane 01-03 and Hawthorn 13-15?

They wouldn't even be better than the '92 and '94 WCE teams.

If any club ever wins an AFL premiership at Kardinia Park then perhaps a case can be mounted for this cheat ground myth.

Hilarious.

Couldn't even go B2B.

Good ordinary premiership teams at best. On par with the North side of the late 90's.

The only two teams in this discussion are Brisbane 2001-03 and Hawthorn 2013-15. The rest of them are playing for scraps.

Yep. 4 flags will ALWAYS be better than 3, no matter how someone desperately attempts to twist it.

But Hawks 08-15>>>>>> anyone since, well, Hawks '83-'91. And yep, that includes WC if they win it this year.

Firstly, an actual three peat beats a hypothetical b2b all day everday forever and ever. Honestly just lol.

Secondly, an eagles fan suggesting brisbane and hawks 3peat is somehow less than an imaginary 2peat because of hga and salary cap.
West coke along side geelong have had the biggest hga of all time. Should be playing 10 pin on their bowling alley fields not football.

Egirls 06 premiership has the biggest asterix of all time next to it. Literally half their team went to rehab in the off season after the gf they were so methed up.

Even last years premiership was an absolute Bradbury.

Richmond face planted against a team that had 1 win for the season against top 8 teams and it took egirls til the last 30 seconds to over run them.
