This seems OTT: if you're playing in a local social league you can't bet on the A-League? If you are running the sidelines for your kid's team, you can't bet on the World Cup. There goes a big chunk of the market, i.e. anyone interested enough in soccer to actually play or get involved with a team. I wonder if other sports are heading this way, or alternatively would it be challenged legally.
