Well since it's the AFL and we are Australian football here is a few things I would do.
1. Be there for all 18 teams no playing Favourites.
2.Have different style draw.
3.Play Overseas games.
4.An open draft no priority picks .
5.1 pick from Academy's clubs in the 1st 2 rounds of the draft all clubs to have access to any player in Australia or overseas.
6.Start season in March with 2 breaks of non football in May and August.
7.Day Grand Final.
8.Good Friday game in Victoria a 4pm start at the MCG.
9.More theme games.
10.Every club to have Reserves and Women's team.

If your new stadium seated 100,000+ then I'd have no problems if it was in WA maybe your government should have got that Casino mogul to drop another billion into it but 60,000 won't cut it.

Unfortunately it will never happen because of tv rights and monetary reasons but I would love a 17 round season.

Thats why i included a SoO lightning premiership preseason comp instead of the NAB cup. Would easily cover the shortfall. All 8 states and territories, no All-Stars/Allies bullshit. States and territories that lack players can raffle/draft the international players or opt to elevate a player from their state league.

3 week comp, 7 games, with AFL clubs playing praccie matches. I reckon it'd work.
