Don't want to derail the thread, and there's some superb examples there... but no room for the Hagia Sophia in Istanbul? Considered by many to be the most beautiful building on the planet. Some other landmarks that are arguably more 'iconic' than the Pentagon, for example, are the Acropolis, Chartres Cathedral, Dome of the Rock, Sagrada Familia, Empire State/Chrysler Buildings... but it's all subjective I suppose.

Anyway, back to the OP, all I can say is that I admire the examples so far, some great work.

The list is just a joke, if you read the post I quoted I believe it says that it would be possible to list 20 landmarks that are more popular than the Kremlin, also, the list is not in order, otherwise Maccas would be first.
