I'll admit I was a massive doubter but WOW!

I was in the boat back 8 rounds ago saying Connolly has the rest of the year to save his job, Freo are a waste of talent, Pavlich should try a better club etc etc.

But, the turn around has been absolutley brilliant, the case behind it is intriguing. The players look so united and strong and when you have JEff Farmer recapturing his career best form, Pavlich again playing great footy and a host of youngsters such as Mundy, Peake, Schammer all doing their bits, you have got to wonder if Freo can go all the way.

Anyway, I don't know if you can but this year looks so open with West Coast and Adelaide dropping games over the shop, Freo and Sydney firming and Collingwood, St Kilda still in with a shot. Should be a great September, that is for darn sure. Good luck for the finals and congrats on the turn around

fresh team to the top 8! i think 1st week of finals will have you guys playing the weagles, the worst case senario for them. good luck for finals your my 3rd team after pies (duh) and doggies for flag preference. But along way to go!

The reason for the improvement is that the players have extracted the digit are playing with aggression and pride for the jumper.

I think the realisation that the team must hit hard physically, has sunk in. This policy has opened the way for players like Cookie and Macca to rejuvenated their careers.

Pav is still in second gear, saving himself for the finals ?.
