I'm certainly not happy with the Crows.

No doubt I will get a petty yellow card for "trolling" soon enough.

Everyone who has posted in this thread is a wonderful person.

Welcome to our world 2007 late September, 2008, 2009.

Just starting to dig ourselves out now.

* Just.

By the way,teams and coaches, form various teams ( in no particular order ) should be reading my sig down there vvvv :p

It's like every team (apart from Richmond) have evolved out of sight over the pre season and we just stayed the same (or even went backwards). That's how it feels and looks to me. Teams are just shutting us down and the players look confused because the game plan that they are so adhesively sticking to isn't working.

It would be interesting however, to see what would happen if we finally got a regular fit squad playing more than one week with each other. It was 3 key players out last week, which I know isn't huge, but has been a regular occurnace for us this year. What makes it worse there is a big turnover of different players getting injured. These players need to find touch when they come back and therefore were seeing a few out of form players running around.

So a combination of an out of date and easy to figure out game plan, a zone that is leaking like a sieve, injuries and zero confidence from the players is IMO what is hurting us big time this year.

This is the lowest I have seen the AFC but i'm still sticking by them. So long as Dangerfield is on our list.

From the main board. My thoughts.

I'm not convinced they're even running one way.

Although they seem to sprint off pretty quick towards the bench :D
You get such a great view at Telstra Dome and it was so frustrating watching players able, jog or walk one way or the other, noone running to create space, definitely noone running the the backline to help out Rutten and Davis against 5 speedy pockets/mids who've run down.

only 50%? you can name a dozen players who've been hard at it all season?

I'm increasingly coming around to the view that our whole 'leadership' structure has failed abysmally. I honestly think this whole notion of player 'empowerment' has contributed to a culture where when the chips are down the players don't take responsibility for their own terrible play. The heightened expectations and constant raving about the state of the list probably didn't help bring them back to earth either....

They're seemingly so mentally fragile that apparently they can't handle repetitive training exercises, despite that being exactly what they need since the damn basics seem beyond most of them. They get paid between 150-500k a year or so, the non-existent effort and constant blame shifting seems to be what we get in exchange for that.

They need to harden the **** up, deal with the fact that Craigy is likely to be their coach for the foreseeable future and play some competitive football
