That was the saints not having ANY players in their forward half including Riewoldt on half back for most of the game, he was just playing us to the conditions.

Seconded, God I hate watching St Kilda. We showed some very nice attacking patches (albeit briefly) which suggests we wont change too much. Next week against Freo will be mor open and should give a bit better idea.

Love his press conference. Started off talking about the players as 'they' when talking about them as an outsider, but quickly started 'us' and 'we'. Also liked the term 'play like a Geelong player should play', really making it a brand of football.

Pretty exciting times for the club.

Love the passion and emotion - just shows how much this one meant to Chris and the Club.
Having said that I am confident he isn't a one trick pony and will bring plenty of variety and balance in his approach and style.
Only one win from a crap game but fantastic to get the 4 points.

Does he have a nickname? Think Acker called the Scott pair Walter and Box Head but not sure thats ideal. It would be good if we had a Nick for him like like "Cool Hand Chris" . Wonder if the boys have got to that stage yet.

Loved the passion, hated the game plan: boring for 98 minutes of defensive slog. But capped off by a great win!

Its exactly as the experts predicted would happen if every one adopts the swarming game plan. Plain boring footy. Hopefully the boys/Chris has a counter move that will at some point make the swarming not only boring, but ineffective as well.

The swarmings fine if all you want to do is win a game, but real footy is as much about how you play as getting the result. Lets hope that 'FOOTY...FULL ON' continues to be the real game.

Had to admire (it's irrelevant whether it was a success or not) seeing Wojcinski sitting at FF at the start of one of the quarters (was it the 3rd?).

It just shows Scott is prepared to change things around to see if they work.

Thompson, however, did not attempt these things.
