I am genuinely excited about the forthcoming season. With our new recruits, in particular Brent Grgic I feel we can re-write the history books and put Geelong back on the map.

I think the Cats will surprise a few in 2002. The team hasn't lost much from last year and people forget that Geelong were really only a win or two away from making the finals.
Spriggs has got to really step up though.
