We will Give u Taz and our first round pick likely to be pick 4 or 5 and you can spoil us with a two of Griffen - Ray - RMurphy -Gilbee- Cooney.
Don't even insult them by including Cooney on that list. He's not going anywhere. Ray and Griffen look good, but they're not at the level of Cooney yet, they'd still be punts to become stars in the future. Cooney is pretty much almost a star now.

Cam Faulkner is who you really need, but Im not sure that he isnt required by eade. MacMahon is another who would be more to your liking than eagleton. Gilbee an outside chance but can you trade someone you just signed?

One of these players and our 2nd round pick

or

Ray straight swap.

Nobody would give up an elite midfielder for tarrant. (cooney, griffen)

Faulkner isn't a bad player , but he is certainly not who we need-neither is McMahon and we already tried Gilbee a while back he's staying put.
We wouldn't bother trading Tarrant unless for a very good midfielder and if no-one is prepared to do it , he stays.

im with everyone else here, we dont need Eagleton

Cooney or Griffen would be nice, but the Bulldogs would never let them go

i actually pondered the possibility of Tarrant in a trade to the Bulldogs a few weeks back, i couldnt come up with a possible trade Collingwood would want that the Doggies would likely part with

I am sick and tired of people bringing up the idea of trading Tarrant!

Everyone knows Tarrant isn't playing the best football of his career, but there is a simple reason for it and that reason is Tarrant has carried a knee injury for most of the year now. Also, it doesn't help when Rocca is on the sidelines, because this means Tarrant will get double-teamed each week.

Why trade Tarrant anyway? Mick can use Tarrant in the midfield once Rocca is back. Tarrant has a strong upper body, aswell as having a huge motor. I hope this move does happen, because it would be exciting to watch Tarrant in the midfield or even on a Wing.

List the important/big games Tarrant has been better than average in? What is his finals record like? Has he improved his kicking since he missed to relatively easy shots in the 3rd Q of the 2002 GF? It also seems to me that Tarrant has been injured now for the best part of 3 or 4 years on and off.

If we could get a young, quick, skilled midfielder for him we have to consider it.

Just like he was injured last year. And in the finals '03. And in the finals '02.

Either he's the most injury prone bloke in the world, or he has a low pain threshold.
