Yeah good thinking - I hear West Coast is going pretty well, why don't you go off and support them instead? Then when they have an off season, you can buy a membership in Adelaide or Fremantle or someone else who's in the top 4.
There are a lot of clubs in this competition which have had a lot fewer premierships than us and a few which have endured far longer success droughts. Clubs survive because they're made of thousands of good people with a common interest - not because they're a list of 22 men.
If you can't hack it when we lose - go watch the AusKick kids. It should be better for you, they don't have a "winner".
For me, I'm going to stick with my club - MY CLUB which I have supported since I was 2 and will continue probably until I'm dead.
I'm not going to sit here and preach that we're the greatest team in the AFL and that but for a few injuries we'd be Permiers - we're not. But jumping off the club because of a few losses is weak. In fact, using the analogy of a game of football, you'd have stopped playing 5 minutes into the first quarter of Round 1. At least our lads have managed 1/2 or 3/4 of each game.
