I am really really really sorry......


I must admit,I was one of the many who put Richmond down at the start of the year. I didn't believe they could possibly make the eight. In a way, I likened them to Collingwood. And I was thinking that they would finish last when Richo went down.(Anyone else feel the same?)
How can a side keep on winning when its best players are out? Who do you attribute it to? Is it the coach or the players?

I have lost out badly by not tipping them in the past few weeks and yet I continue to refuse to believe that they can keep on winning. Coming equal 33rd in JJJ comp. out of 6500. Who knows where I'd be if I had tipped them. But I'm still tipping Brisbane this week. You'd think I'd learn...

I think its the coach because our playing list hasn't changed that much. I just hope the club hangs onto him for a while and lets him learn the ropes. I am sick of them sacking the coachers or pressuring them to quit.

Nah Tigerlover, Spud is just doing his apprenticeship before returning home to coach us.

We were grooming Trevor Barker to be our next senior coach. Now it is time for one of our other favourite sons to take over the coaching.

Seriously, I am rapt that the tiges are doing so well and hope Spud continues to impress.

just wanted to say how stoked i was to see a big grin on Timmy's face after your win. I really hope he can stay as coach, and that your boys improve. I think He is still a champ, although you may disagree with that.

While Richmond is doing great, it brings a question to my mind- Why have all those average players just started to decide to play well?
Think of all those other coaches who had to put up with those players being ordinary. Frawley on the outside looking in hasn't really done anything drastic down there so it must be all those players who thought they might try.
I think they'll go well this year but I have a horrible sinking suspicion that it'll just be another case of a honeymoon period for the new coach. eg, Watson, Malthouse, Schwabb
