Having Michael Walters, Ballas, Barlow, Fyfe, Dawson, McPharlin, Morabito, Dawson, Ibbotson all out for 2+ weeks has really hurt us.

It has forced us to play players that are not quiet ready and are not contributing enough and do not have the required class to get us over the line.

Yeh, great sides have great depth but we are not there yet and we need close to our best side on the park to beat the top sides.

The positive is we are playing Pav's 300th, which we just have to win for him and then we have a bye and 9 easier rounds.

Hopefully by round 19 we will have close to our best 22 as we can not afford to go into finals with very many injuries if we are going to push for a flag.

I would anticipate that the return of McPharlin and Dawson plus the recovery of hill will mean that we can drop two of the "bottom 5".

But in the game against Port there were a number of better players that did not fire. D Pearce, Duffield and Balla to name a few.
Maybe Duffield gets suspended for the bump but otherwise I would expect Crozier and C Pearce.

Is Hill expected to get up for the Geelong game though?
I doubt Hill will get up, Crowley was limping in the airport and Duffield will probably get suspended.

This has been our issue all year, as soon as we get one person back another person is out.
