A good top 10, just slot Dusty in at 2. KB still number 1. Dusty still has time to move to the top.In 2016, Mike Sheahan was asked to list his top 50 of the last 50 years. The top 10 were....
1 KB
2 Royce
3 Francis
4 Flea Weightman
5 Raines
6 Stewart
7 Clay
8 Barrot
9 Richo
10 Sheedy.

34 Dusty
We all know what he has achieved since then, so in my mind he has now displaced Francis Bourke at no. 3, with at least 4 years to move into the top 2.

Yes, Rance would also be way up there along with Cotch & Jack. There would be many changes in fact. One could argue that given it's the last 50 years (now 2021), some players ie Barrot, would drop out now.Best tiger player is Benny gale, had he not signed his soul to the tigers we never wouldn’t won these last three premierships and maybe a couple more before he is done..
hart, kB, Martin. Split .
where is the Rance love?
richo in the wrong team, had he been playing in 2017 he would’ve been epic.
most great players also plaid in great teams.
Never gets injured. Never seen him bleed. He’s a machine

If we were to redo for the 50 years from the beginning of 1970, keep in mind that some had left or in the twilight of their careers. Barrot had only 1 season, Strang was gone, Dean was in decline, Northey just 1 season, Bill Brown 2 seasons.

Best I've ever seen, although I never had the pleasure of watching Royce or KB, and Richo retired when I was a youngster so I don't have a lot of memories of him.
If I was you I wouldn't be highlighting where you've shoved Richo..... 33.Best since the Hafey era. I rate flag winning. So kudos to Knights, Gale, Richo

If we win another flag Richo'll be out of the 50. Replaced by Kamdyn. Knights & Gale won't budge. St Brendon might go higherIf I was you I wouldn't be highlighting where you've shoved Richo..... 33.
Comes in about 5-6 in my eyes, flag or no flag.
You know what they do to heretics don't you.
Bullshit. KB was a match for Dusty any day of the week. His finals performances were sublime. No Norm smith medals in those days.Anyone who doesn't put him 1 is kidding themselves. He's the best footballer we've ever had by a country mile.
Did you see Bourke Barrot or Clay play? Or KB? Or Hart? Or Green.Anyone who doesn't put him 1 is kidding themselves. He's the best footballer we've ever had by a country mile.
I trust you grade your children the same way (if you have any).If we win another flag Richo'll be out of the 50. Replaced by Kamdyn. Knights & Gale won't budge. St Brendon might go higher
I like this.Bartlett
Hart
Martin

Bourke

He won more B&Fs... dominated games to the extent that they changed the holding the ball rule to stop him. Dusty is a star and I put him in the same category but there is no way he's our best by a country mile. At this stage KB is 1 , Dusty 2 , however, Dusty still has plenty of time to go to the top.
