MOOSES WIN IN HISTORIC FIRST MATCH
The Noosa Mooses have won their first match in OFGFL, defeating the Docklands Demons by more than 80 points, the score being 1488 to 1404.
Noosa coach Danger in Texas was pleased with the win, however admitted there was still room for improvement.
"Some of our midfield guns like VB (Nathan van Berlo), Jack (Steven) and Kade (Simpson) really need to step up. My recruiting process was to pick the best scorers available. These guys really need to convert."
He was really pleased with the improvement of his recruits since the previous season.
"Young Brandon Matera really stood out to me as one that could vastly improve this season. He just looks a natural footballer. Others like (Justin) Westhoff and Matty Wright look like they're in for big seasons, too."
The Mooses face off against the Woodville Huskies at Woodville Oval.
