I'm guessing you are asking me if i have seen every movie in the last two year? Lets be honest, No, but I've seen every movie I've wanted to see in the last two years

I cannot stand people who feel the need to say they still haven't seen some movie yet from years ago - They obviously haven't seen it because they don't have an urgency to see it in which case it doesn't bother them not to see it.

Great movie, best in 2010 by miles.

A question for the people on here though. How many layers do you think he went into? Personally I wasn't sure if it was 4 or 5. The first one was the one with the van, the second was the hotel, the third was the bunker in the mountains and the fourth was where the world was collapsing around them. Now I personally thought that when he met Saito at his mansion it may have been the fith layer, hence Saito's extreme old age.

Also Christopher Nolan is a genius. Anyone who is entrusted with a budget the size of Inceptions with a plot so complex is obviously a special talent. He pulled this off brilliantly imo.

Also interestingly Inception is currently rated number 3 on IMDb's best 250 movies of all time.

4 levels plus a 5th known as "limbo"

Don't agree on how good the movie was, but do agree with the props given to JGL. Thought he great in Stop-Loss, certainly better than the wooden ex Mr Witherspoon.

Finally decided to get around to watching it (yes im a bit delayed) but after hearing 2-3 weeks of people telling me best movie ever blah blah i dismissed it since those were the kind of people that loved Transformers 2 and i despised that movie.

Anyway decided to go and it was a decent movie. That's it im sorry. Best movie so far this year? Maybe, i havn't seen too many but for the people saying best movie ever get a grip.

It was an interesting idea ,but it's just an idea. There's almost nothing else there. It's just a puzzle box, like a very complex Braid level (for those who have played Braid) in which you're just watching characters go through it. There's about half an hour of story in there.

My main gripe is the fact theres no antagonists. Its all faceless people that don't get a proper introduction end up getting killed in fights we don't care about. There's no interesting opposition here. Even the guy in the big corridor fight is completely generic.

I have many more but i wont get stuck on the hating. Overall 7.5/10

I'm reading some Philip K Dick for the first time at the moment. If you want to be blown away by multiple realities and the iluusion of reality, go there. He doesn't bother with pointless action sequences.

Pretty sure Nolan didn't intend Richmond supporters to be able to get the concept ;)

The 'concept', as you prefer to call it, is weak and shambolic. It's a reflection of the simpletons that walk into movie theatres that this movie seems to be rated. It was ok. But nothing memorable.

The film did nothing or explored anything that hasnt been done before. I mean shit... the whole premise of dreams within dreams was done centuries ago by storytellers with far better skills.

You were told to like it, and you did.

Well done.

Generous for a flick you did not like

Should of made myself a bit more clear, i definetly did not hate Inception. Was a good solid movie with an interesting idea that i enjoyed somewhat, but i think the amount of hype i was hearing about it increased my expectations to unreasonable levels. But yeh enjoyed it but there were parts i didnt like (like almost all movies).

Post of a self regarded genius who just does not get it :)

I'm still trying to figure out by whom we were told to like it? I decided to see this movie based on the trailer which I'd see several months earlier, which looked awesome. I went in with high expectations and I was thrilled that they were met.

I had no idea what the movie was about before I went in though.

Same here.

You're both right and wrong. I got it alright and wasted over 2 hours waiting for it to finish. That snow scene was pure boredom and torture.... Just hurry the **** up and end it will ya.

Agree. I understood it, enjoyed it to a degree, but by the end I was tapping my feet, fidgeting and could not wait to get the hell out.

I actually fell asleep for about 15 minutes somewhere about 90 minutes in.. So perhaps I missed the legendary moment that propelled this film into the 'great' category.\

But I doubt it.

Nah there wasn't "that moment". Agreed on the snow fortress though, wasted a good 30 minutes or so

Same, looks like we went without wasting our money. The sheep who went not liking it should have shown better judgement. :)

No movie is going to be enjoyed by everybody. I thought Inception was great. But I remember seeing another movie that people raved about, Sin City, and I had the same negative thoughts about that movie. Could not wait for it to end and fell asleep part way through it.
