Our first of three warm up series as countries gear up for the T20 World cup. We head to India for three matches first up. India may be ripe for the picking after a very disappointing Asia cup.

First match is 20th September. Discuss.

interesting to see if we can adapt to the conditions....its a quick turnaround form wickets in North QLD to india
India havent had much time in India recently. Like i mentioned in another thread, its an odd timing to have a T20 series with a world cup in Australia just around the corner.

I wouldnt write Australias chances off here. But one thing coming from Cairns/Townsville wickets to India will be quite an adjustement for many of the batters here.

hoping they use the world cup squad where possible and leaving replacement players green, abbott, sams and ellis as back up players only.

meaning the team could look like:

finch, (INGLIS), smith, maxwell, (DAVID), wade, (AGAR), cummins, (K.RICHARDSON), zampa, hazlewood

WARNER, MARSH, STOINIS, STARC will all come back into the XI you'd think.

Not sure Stoinis is a certainty.
