Movie Indian, Indian-British and Bollywood films

Films by Indian and Indian-British film-makers are fantastic.

Gurinder Chadha OBE (Bhaji on the Beach, Bend It Like Beckham, Bride and Prejudice) has work that is well worth watching. She was born in Kenya and grew up in Southall in London.

There are too many films from India to list (actually, I can't name any at the top of my head, except for Monsoon Wedding).

I've only seen a handful of Bollywood musical numbers and they are always fun - though repetitive.

Can anybody recommend some good titles of other films?

There is a bollywood musical cricket one that SBS crank out a fair bit. It's not too bad. It's a bit cliched with an Indian village forced to play double tax by the british lords, so some villager challenges them to cricket, if they win they pay no tax, if they lose, triple tax.
