I’ll probably watch a bit this year, given it’s on Foxtel now.

Feel like I need to pick a side to actually get invested though. But the squads change so much, it’s hard to settle on one.

Why aren't they showing the first match on TV?

For what, busting Smith’s shoulder and forcing him to miss a year?

Foxtel have repeats of other shows on the other channels, but can't show the first hour of the game because the rugby is on 505?

What a thrilling match to start with ! MI were bit unlucky in the end.

And Rahul just smashed the fastest 50 in IPL.

Not sure they need to give 20 awards out at the end of the match. Really trivial way to get the sponsors a mention.

I was enjoying watching that match but with Danny Morrison and Michael Slater screaming into the microphone trying to outdo each other, I gave up. Is there anyone worse than Danny Morrison?

Surprised that Fox have picked it up, but pleased.

Just doesn't seem to rate in this market.

Of course 10 had it years ago.

How does this rate worldwide? Obviously in India it will rate well regardless but how is it received elsewhere?

It's the mid to late afternoon in England and South Africa so there'd be a bit of interest there. Late morning in the West Indies.

Outside of that nowhere else GAF about cricket. Aus/NZ ratings for IPL are poor because of the time zones. I doubt too many people in NZ are watching right now.

Fox probably knew that they'd be playing a role in the cricket broadcast rights this time and that they'd need content outside the Australian summer.

Dunno what happened to Deccan Chargers. Went for them in the first years cos they had Symons and Gilly, now they’re not even a team.

Shows how much attention I’ve paid since it wasn’t shown on 10.
