Two matches in and Australia are now on the bottom. Interesting match last night with australia seriously losing the plot after a 132 run opening stand chasing 283. Considering our virtyally non-existant bowling line up I wouldn't be surprised if we don't even make the final.

Considering that the Aussies didn't have much time to adjust to the slow turning wickets of India, we did OK. Generally in India the team that bats first, wins. I don't really think the team is motivated as much as India. India has more to prove than we do, but saying that I still think we'll win the series.

Personally it is a who cares series that has no bearing on what happens later on.

BTW: Kasper has pulled his butt and is in doubt for the rest of the tour.

Apparently Tony Dodemaide is in line for a recall.

New Zealand always do well against us as well. Who cares - pointless tournament, much rather play another couple of tests against Zimbabwe.

Exactly, it is pointless.

Apparently CA only agreed to this strange tour as a favour to the Indian Cricket board of Control (or whatever they call themselves). Not sure what the favour was for though.
