The Indianapolis Star's Joel Erickson reports that Colts CB Kenny Moore is planning to report to training camp this week.​

Moore had made a lot of noise this offseason about how unhappy he was with his contract, and even hinted at a holdout in June. But ultimately he doesn't have all that much leverage in the situation, and he had reported for mandatory sessions in June. Moore is one of the best slot corners in the NFL and keeping him happy should be a priority for the Colts.

Colts placed LB Darius Leonard, DE Tyquan Lewis, S Rodney McLeod and WR Michael Strachan on active/PUP list.​

These players can be pulled off PUP at any time during camp. Leonard had back surgery and it was never expected that he'd be ready for the start of camp. Lewis missed the back half of the season with a knee injury. Strachan hadn't been cleared to practice yet. McLeod ended the season on IR after an ACL tear. The team also placed DT Eric Johnson on the non-football injury list.

Colts claimed DT Byron Cowart on waivers from the Patriots.​

Cowart was a fifth-round pick by the Patriots in the 2019 NFL Draft. The former Maryland product was placed on the reserve/PUP list to start last season, and never suited up for a game in 2021. Cowart appeared on 419 snaps for the Patriots in 2020 according to PFF, totaling 27 tackles, three TFLs and one sack.

Texans made us pay for some sloppy mistakes.

I'm almost at the point of a hard reset with this franchise it's just stuck in middling perpetual mediocrity right now.

If we lose away to the Jags, the Titans play at Buffalo and could be 0-2 so a slow start to the season might not hurt too much.

If we lose away to the Jags, the Titans play at Buffalo and could be 0-2 so a slow start to the season might not hurt too much.

I wouldn't be worrying so much about the Titans as I would be the Jaguars

I'm not a big fan of tanking but this team needs to go to the draft for it's next long term QB prospect.

It's not going to happen with the recycles... doesn't seem to want to work. It's only been two games, but Ryan looks worse than Wentz.

Very nice of the Chiefs to give us our first win of the season.

Instead of punting we kept the ball thanks to a Chiefs penalty and suddenly the Offence looked a million dollars for the last drive.

It was pretty painful to watch before that happened!

Ryan is what he is these days. I've been watching it for a few years. He's a tombstone in the pocket so you need some near elite O-line play to get his best, and Indy went nowhere near that today

Every play Ryan looks like he is still playing in the second half of that SuperBowl.

This team has so many holes, but if they keep trading for these QBs on their last legs then they'll never get anywhere.

Desperately need to fix the OL too. It might be time to make some trades for draft capital.
