The playoffs still feels like it is in our hands as we should beat the Jags and surely one of Miami or The Browns will lose their last game.

If we can't beat the Jags then we definitely don't deserve to make it.

So it sounds like the steelers will be resting starters but it seems the Bills may play their best line up against the Dolphins.

🤞

If i'm looknig at it right, 722 yards from scrimmage and 8 TD's from JT in the last 5 weeks of the season.

Ughh i was hoping AC would go one more year.

LT is now #1 priority scary thought
Colts LG Quenton Nelson could replace retired LT Anthony Castonzo on the blindside in 2021.
Per The Athletic's Stephen Holder, there have been "hypothetical conversations" on the matter, but that neither coach Frank Reich nor Nelson himself have ruled it out. This was bandied about as an option this season, but Nelson ended up playing only a handful of snaps away from his regular position. Nelson is one of the best offensive linemen in all of football, but the Colts would be playing with fire by moving him away from the interior, and possibly creating two bad situations where right now they only have one in Castonzo's absence.

I want Darnold he can grow with the rest of the core players we have.

Stafford would just be another band aid at the position need to find the long term answer.

Stafford's 32 mate, plenty of years left in the tank.

If you take Darnold you could easily waste a championship window.

Take the known commodity rather than hoping a younger one works out just as good.

Colts promoted QBs coach Marcus Brady to offensive coordinator.
Undrafted out of small-school Cal State Northridge in 2002, Brady embarked on a long career in Canada as both a player and coach. He was serving as the Toronto Argonauts' offensive coordinator before Frank Reich hired him to join his staff in 2018. Replacing the outgoing Nick Sirianni, Brady will be allowed to grow into the job, as we would assume Reich will continue to call his own plays in 2021. Brady did accumulate six years of coordinating experience north of the border.

Colts general manager Chris Ballard said Jacoby Brissett isn't "out of the mix completely" for the team's starting quarterback spot.
Something short of a ringing endorsement, Ballard's comment shows the team has all but dismissed Brissett -- the Colts' 2019 starter -- as a serious contender to start in 2021. He mostly served as a massive goal line option for Indianapolis in 2020, vulturing touchdowns from Jonathan Taylor and Nyheim Hines. Expect the Colts to be aggressive at QB in free agency and the NFL draft.

Colts head coach Frank Reich used to be the Eagles’ offensive coordinator, so the Colts come up often when there’s talk about where Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz might go in a trade.

On Friday, Colts General Manager Chris Ballard was asked about that chatter during an appearance on The Dan Dakich Show. Tampering rules prohibit Ballard (and others around the league) from commenting directly on another team’s player and Ballard’s answer didn’t rule anything other than an imminent trade.

“We are exploring lots of options . . . I can tell you this, there’s no trade going down today,” Ballard said, via Kevin Bowen of 107.5 The Fan.

The Colts were reportedly in the bidding for Matthew Stafford before the Lions agreed to trade him to the Rams last weekend and Wentz may not be the only other trade option. The Colts could also go the draft route, although that might require them to move up from the No. 21 spot in the first round. Ballard said that anything they do won’t be borne of desperation.

“There’s a fine line between being aggressive and desperate. We are not going to operate in a desperate world,” Ballard said.

The Colts only have Jacob Eason under contract for 2021 at quarterback, so they will be making a move this offseason. The direction of that move remains under wraps for now.
