My take is it’s in the bottom few indigenous jumpers we’ve produced. The line that a picture tells a thousand words has never been more applicable.

Me to. Think its great they've integrated the design across AFL, VFL, VFLW, and wheelchair footy, as well as the netball.

I’m wondering if our past indigenous were invited to design the jumper or at least be involved? The guy who did ours sounded like he didn’t really want to do it.

It looks like they have chosen to wear it next week instead of this week. Next week's game is a home game for the Demons (also on a Friday night), though it's played at Alice Springs (as things stand). Perhaps they just wanted to wear it in a game where spectators are allowed?:

I agree with both of you, it does seem strange to not wear it this week! It will be interesting to see if any other clubs do the same.

John Ralph just explained that Melbourne aren't wearing their indigenous jumpet because it clashes with the Bulldogs. I can't see any clash myself

Apparently clashed too much with the Doggies jumper so they'll wear it next week. EDIT: What everyone else said.

Maybe what the AFL should have directed the Bombers to do ANZAC day.

We used to wear black and white stripes, vs North’s blue and white stripes, on black and white TV, In mud heaps.
The difference being black shorts or white shorts.
Now we have HD colour TV and we can’t distinguish the teams?

Would it be a step in the right direction to have our indigenous jumper be our regular away jumper/ interstate jumper? Or would it be seen as tacky?
