So he stayed on with Williamstown for another season after Collingwood delisted him at the end of 2001. I presume he played a fair few games for the Seagulls in 2001.

Looks that way, Andrew Williams and Leigh Sheehan are others who continued at Williamstown after we got rid of them, which says a lot about how good a club Williamstown is. On a rough count (figures may not be 100%) of sporting pulse it seems Lovett-Murray played around 11 senior games and 9 reserves games (including 2 finals and the grand final) for Williamstown in '01. I haven't looked at the '02 numbers.

Yes, he was on the Rookie List back in 2001. He only lasted the one season, before showing up on Essendon's list in 2004.
