Glad I went back to it, excellent finish to a very good s3. Onesurprising thing for me was Kit Harington’s performance …very good, better than Jon Snow.

Think there was also another scene where he was going to bet on “Bombers in the final” and the whole trading floor starts laughing

Apparently they thought that it would be their series finale which is why everything wrapped up as it did.

Finished and caught up the other day and life feels void not listening to the outro as it was for a week of bingeing.

Well they should have gone another 30 minutes to do the last act properly

I tried to watch this when it first came out and struggled with Season 1

But have now watched it all and absolutely love it

For me it's not quite up with Mad Men or Succession, but it's not far off

Got this on storage. Should get to it soon.
Sounds very much like a 90's show called Capital City from the UK. That had a couple of young bucks in it called Jason Isaacs and Ewan McGregor who have both gone onto bigger things.

A must read for fans of the show.

“If you reduce everything to the quid pro quo of market logic – which is like: what can I get out of you and what can you get out of me? – then what happens to your own humanity, your ability to be vulnerable, to empathise?” says Kay.

Wringing tension from two characters we've never seen before, in the board meeting at the end, is impressive stuff.

Ostensibly a much different show to when it first started, but doesn't necessarily feel like a different show - which is a good thing. Just pretty stoked to have one of the best shows come back and reinvent itself in its fourth season. Feels like everything good I'm watching on TV is either a limited series or a new series altogether.

Nick Blaine and Sally Draper are good additions to the show.

It's a bit like Skins where characters and eventually whole casts could be turned over, but with it still being the same setting/universe. The new and old component parts look like they'll overlap nicely this season as they did in S3.
