Looking across the benches and emergencies it seems fairly even but Port is a 5-8team IMO

On the other side of the coin our 1-18 are going to tear them apart.

Port are quite an experienced team and despite the additions I'm still worried about our 19th to 22nd players selected

I rate our bench players ahead of some of their starters.

Only thing I’m concerned about is some overzealous hometown umpiring.

I think we have very different 18-23s.

For us Ashcroft - never played a game so i guess goes here, but better prepared than just about any debutant in history.

Tunstill - only 3 games. At least in his second season. Nit slight. Won’t out the fear of god in to anyone.

Wilmot - only 3 games and slight but playing 3 finals is handy.

McKenna? Payne? Robertson?

Port don’t have any very inexperienced players so harder to do.

Jones and JHF are the most rookie like.

I think their 18-23 is much more subjective.

I’ll go Jonas, McKenzie who both look like they are coming to the end. Lycett the same on recent form.

Jones who has shown a glimpse or too.

Plus whomever is sub.

I don’t think we should (probably) win because their last 5 will give them nothing, like how we lost v essendon last year for example. I think it’s because they have some key players who were good or very good who are now mediocre.

Rich makes a fair difference!

I’m a big believer in the 0-10 and 0-24 being the problem in terms of having too many.

Of our 3 0-24s, one got 8 coaches votes last week, one has played 3 finals, one is 25 and been in the system 6 years.

Shiels, Howe and Tucker all playing with the latter two not have been in until the last two games. Really thought they’d bring back 19 year old Bergman for Howe which would have been a big shift in itself.
