This is the oldest team we've selected since Round 8.
I thought i best check that we actually one that game.
Yes, it was a win V Suns.
Our oldest player Zorko topped the disposals with 40

Really great seeing the bottom end jump up with no sub 10 players at the moment. Looking to next year we should get Fletcher, Lohman and hopefully Ashcroft into the 50+ game region.

Considering geelong have left out Touhy and Hawkins they are still awfully old for a team whose supporters say they are going through a rebuild. Apart from danger who else is over 30 in that team to affect the lists so much.

Looks like 7 of them 30 or over and 4 over 33

Eight more games played but almost a year less in age?

That's a hell of an unusual combination.

Would be fascinated to know what it looked like in 2022. We were fairly experienced then; probably have more newbies this time? Cats would definitely have been older and more experienced.

Between us playing the yoof during our bad years & a relatively stable side, our expereince:games ratio is generally quite high. Maybe I should make that a graph :D

Actually I probably will.

The good news is I've got historical graphs nowadays!

That 0.13 finals won can't be right. To that point we'd beaten Richmond in 2020, Richmond in 2022 and Melbourne in 2022. And Rich played in the Carlton 2009 final.

Not sure Geelong's finals won figure is right either. If they really were going at over 80% they'd have won many more flags surely.

That's a new field and may be interacting weirdly with the historical data, I'll take a look

No interactive version this week, I haven't brought my laptop to Melbourne and uploading to the live site with a tablet is proving problematic
