It's a new character, so i'm guessing you'll be fine. I played the first one, but missed the 2nd one, and will be getting this one.

I would recommend playing the other ones for context though. The story in this series is fantastic.

I haven't played any either but very keen on this - I'm suffering from too many games syndrome to have time for another 2!

I think I'll pick up the special edition version and hope that the additional mission fills in some of the context.

If you don't feel like playing the first two, read up on the story online. As mentioned it is a great storyline, especially IMO the first one.

I've seen a vid of a guy playing it, and it just seems way too run and gun, just run along with your hand out in front of you shooting. I don't know, I have played and enjoyed the first two, but for some reason I'm not getting a boner over this?

For some reason Infamous never really grabbed me... Was a good looking game, nice animation and the traversal was pretty awesome. Just found the rest of the mechanics a bit meh, and the story completely meh.

Some impressive screens there though, the rainy ground reminds me of Sleeping Dogs which looked great when it rained on PC.

for those thinking of getting the normal ed of the game like from DSE, i have herd that the Cole's Legacy DLC will not be available to buy standalone at a later date and is only in the limited Ed. but i dont think SP have confirmed that to be true or false.

I hope it doesnt break street date because i have a haircut on Friday afternoon and will pick it up after. and CBF going out tomorrow or Thursday to get the game early.
