I am sick and tired of the Americanisms creeping into Australia's daily speech.Eg, I go to the bakery and spend $2.60 on a loaf of bread, the millennial says thankyou 'so' much. In my day I said 'thankyou so much' when someone was offering me sympathy for a bereavement or if someone lent me $50,000 to start a business, nowadays it's 'thankyou so much' every 5 minutes.What's wrong with saying thankyou or thanks ffs!

Agree with you there, drives me crazy. The generations before us have created a world where realness doesn't get you anywhere.

This is the real problem, businesses are dying because these little campaigners only have “a beer”, they don’t dine out anymore, they “Uber eats” everything, they drink beer that tastes like elderberry or lotus flower and a hint of tosh fluff.
They live in ****ing fairy land and can’t wait to be suspended in virtual reality hanging in a room for all eternity being something completely different from who they actually are!
