But it's not just him. His whole team on The Apprentice (UK) didn't know which years WWII ran.

There is some hope with GenZ though. My 8 year old daughters favourite Youtube Channel is OverSimplyfied (History) she falls asleep watching these vids every night, knows most of them off by heart. Her faves include The French Revolution & WWII. Probably knows more about Robespierre, Hitler and Stalin than an 8 year should, but it does make for interesting dinner discussion.

You don't know that, they could have picked the brightest and most ambitious out of those that applied.

There's nothing more annoying to me than people who constantly feel the need to defend every group of people that get mocked or fairly criticized (except middle aged white males of course, we're the devil lol) with the usual, but they're only a tiny minority!!! They're not representative of that whole group!!! I never said that EVERY SINGLE millennial is a complete twat...just a sizeable portion of them. But that is just my perception of that demographic from my own experiences, as is your perception is that only a small percentage of millennials that are idiots. It's probably somewhere in the middle, who knows. But in the context of this thread title, there is really no point in defending the virtue of generation stupid in what is essentially a vent thread.
