Haha.

Well at least she's resigned to the fact that it's inevitable :D

As for the try, what a pearler. How good is his fend though? We saw it the other night as well, but he put a good 5 or 6 on in that video. He doesn't look the strongest in the upper body department compared to other outside backs such as Tate, but **** me can't he brush 'em off with ease.

He didn't seem to have a lot of pace or stamina in that try though.

Then compare that to his 2nd try NZ who made me drop my food watching him blitz by.

He's going to do amazing things. Turn Melbourne gay by the sounds of it :p

Well you would get that in a rugby league board wouldn't you?

What do you expect the talk to be, in a rugby league board?

It must suck being you, for the life of me, I have never ever ever seen any RL fans rave about a player from AwFuL, never seen a thread about an AwFuL player switching codes to step up and play against men.

But, I suppose that's what happens when you follow a second rate sport played by a bunch of sheila's, you get to watch a bunch of Pansie's play kickby, then watch a real football game and get all horny over a 19 year old kid.

Oh and the 200 odd replies that come with it, see, that shows that RL is the better and harder game when you get AwFuL zealots raving about some kid they seen play once.

Kick, fumble, fumble, fumble, kick, catch, fumble, hand pass, fumble, fumble, hand pass, kick, drop, miss goal, get 1 point, bounce, fumble, kick, fumble, cry, fumble, kick, fumble, bouncy bally throughy the goalie, missy, getty, 1y pointy , for missy.

OMFG

They kicked a goal.:D

In all fairness, AFL is a top sport and it's just idiots who cant embrace more than one code who are the problem (and seemingly make it their purpose to deride all other codes as a result).

But what can I say, it looks like everyone wants a bit of Inglis in their lives. :D

I Cant see why people Cant just enjoy good sport in general rather than Get all Bitchy about which football code is best. Both AFL and NRL are great although i am more of an AFL person, because of where i live, you dont go seeing me bitching about the other codes. I Mean seriously! people can be pathetic sometimes

Who's bitching about football?

If people come in here posting BS, we will give it back, if they want to talk footy, they are welcome.

And there is no law that states I or anyone else has to like AFL.

I like other sports, I just don't like AFL because of all the soft stuff in the game, there are too many rewards for mediocrity.

Well Thats fair enough but i bet if you were raised in an AFL state, as i was, then your opinion would be different. I just think its stupid for people who dont take the time to watch the opposite code and just say its **** cause everybody else on the board does. I like both AFL and NRL

Great stuff Kerr. :thumbsu:

I was born and raised in Melbourne and didn't know all too much about Rugby League until I moved to Sydney at the age of 9.

Whilst I wasnt an avid fan back then, I must admit that it took at least a year or rigorous exposure from my friends up here to really get me into it - and now you couldn't pull me away from a match if you paid me! :p

It's a matter of exposure and changing the almost 'phobia' that some Melbournians have about embracing Rugby League. It took Sydney almost 25 years to grab a foothold in Sydney, I think Melbourne has done very well with only 8 years at around the same level. :thumbsu:

Because i'd just moved up from Melbourne and that timed almost perfectly with the Storm entering the competition. :thumbsu:

You guys seem to think us fellas in NSW-QLD-ACT have never been exposed to AFL, it's been on TV ever since I can remember, I like most of the population have had plenty of time to get use to the game, I can't, now that's saying something, because I watch most sports.

Aye, I can remember channel 7 saturday afternoon games since about 1984-5 in Sydney.

I remember plenty like Daniher brothers all playing for one team, Karakour (sic) brothers for the kangaroos I believe.

AFL has been exposed in Sydney for a very very long time.

Yep, thats the thing, I was 9 when the Swans moved to Sydney, I seen AFL on TV every week before that, and every week after.

If I didn't get it when I was a Kid, there is no way I can get into it as an adult.

I don't mind it being on TV, I don't mind people talking about it, I just get Pd Off when they get shoved down our throats and we are constantly told how big they are blah blah blah, it gets tiresome, simply because, we know how big they are.

And the Sydney Swans are one of the big teams in Sydney with regards to crowds, but that's it, they don't come close in any other area.
