Re: XOH - Surprised that a dislocated thumb will take 7 weeks to heal.

Imagine it would have been a difficult decision for the medical staff to allow him to stay out there knowing that it would have only have gotten worse.

Good to see nothing regarding Briggs. Was a bit worried he might miss a week with that cork. Hopefully they're not hiding an injury and he's a late-out against Adelaide.

Is it a broken thumb? Must be a pretty bad break to be that long out, but better to avoid coming back to early and turning it into a chronic problem.

It's getting deeper into the season, the 'injury' might be listed as in training, but it is just s as much about the midweek recovery rather than new injury due to specific training.

Shame about Leek. But he wouldn't get a look into that backline at the minute.
